The consultation process
The foundation of our approach is sustainability. From the soil up, we utilize the best practices to support biodiversity and ecology of every yard we touch. This approach is not only the right way of doing things for the planet but it results in stronger, healthier gardens that thrive with less maintenance for our clients. This is not the typical approach to landscaping. Because of our soil up approach we begin all of our projects with an initial ($125) in person consultation to develop a relationship and connect with our prospective clients so that we can understand their goals for their outdoor spaces. We thoroughly discuss all their needs and dreams and begin developing a vision for their new yard almost immediately. This process allows us to create highly personalized designs that fit our clients lifestyle and capabilities. Consultations truly are the foundation of our relationships and creative collaborations!
When I first walk into new spaces I am overwhelmed, excited and grateful with the task of organizing a fresh design in my head. Talking with clients, understanding their needs and budget, creating plant pallets and making a general outline as ideas take hold help me conceptualize a space little by little. This process takes about a week (sometimes less!) to really get it all just right. Usually going into the actual installation process we leave aspects of the design fluid enough allowing us to fill gardens with the coolest Florida friendly accessible plants the market offers. This process makes every project completely different! It is incredibly rewarding working alongside and watching our entire hardworking plant-loving crew take ownership in each and every project as well. They’re such an integral part of this entire operation. This hutzpah leaves our clients with very useful, personalized spaces that greatly expand the useful footprint of their homes and genuine connections well after installation is completed.
